Where Can You Go Next To Make A Difference?
Himachal Pradesh is India’s northern most state covered by the spectacular Himalayan Mountains. Volunteer placements take place amidst snow capped mountains and lush green valleys aided by mild climate during summer, providing an always picturesque and peaceful environment. The main feature of Himachal is its stunning scenery, with wide variations in altitudes ranging from low hills to high mountains, lakes and flowing rivers. Like many other Indian states, Himachal Pradesh is a multiregional, multicultural, and multilingual state, guaranteeing a balanced immersion into Indian’s way of life.
University of Dreams will be taking a volunteer trip to India in August, 2010. UOD Foundation partners with Indian Network for Development Exchange (Idex) to run all of its India trips.
