In 2010, we will expand our reach to Northern India. In Himachal Pradesh near the Himalayan border, there are many children who aren’t given the opportunity to stay in school past the primary level. These kids are bright, talented and have tremendous potential to become agents of change in their communities and beyond. They just need to be given a chance. We aim to do that this year by identifying and sponsoring at least 3 of these future Dreamers. It costs $600 per year to fully fund one child’s scholarship. As soon as we select the students, they will be featured individually just as the Guatemalan children have been. Please consider sponsoring an Indian child to continue her/his education.
